Here at Monkey Puzzle Kingston we have a dedicated team of Early Years Practitioners who have experience working with children in a variety of settings.
Management

  Nursery Manager – Mandy

Mandy has worked within the day nursery environment for over 10 years. Mandy progressed quickly from a nursery nurse to room manager overseeing busy rooms of up to 24 children. Mandy then made her way into nursery management assisting with the running of large day nurseries before opening her own Pre-School setting which she owned and managed each day. Due to the refurbishment of the Pre-School building Mandy closed and began working at Monkey Puzzle Kingston in November 2014.

Mandy has also spent time working as a nanny caring for 2 under 5 year olds.

Mandy has a daughter Isabelle who is at primary school.

 Nursery Chef – Nikki

Nikki as been working within the Kitchen industry for many years. She has 2 children of her own and brings her love of fresh home cooking to our Nursery.

Room Leader – Sarah

Sarah has her level 3 award in Child Care and Education. Sarah has worked in the day nursery environment for over 10 years, she also has 3 young children of her own.

Tweenie Room (1-2 years)

Room Leader – Sam

Sam has her level 3 award in Child Care and Education. Sam has five years experience of working in day nurseries.

Sam is our Nursery Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator.

 

 Trainee Nursery Assistant – Michelle

Michelle joined Monkey Puzzle in February 2015. Michelle has 2 daughters both of teenage age. Michelle is studying for her level 2 award.

 

2-3’s Room

 Room Leader – Maria

Maria trained as a nursery nurse in her home country Italy and has been working with children for over 20 years. Maria has a vast amount of child care experience both in Italy and here in the  UK where she has had roles such as Children’s Activity Manager, Nursery Nurse and Room Manager.

Maria has a daughter at primary school.

Maria joined Monkey Puzzle Kingston in August 2014.

Nursery Assitant – Lucy

Lucy has her level 2 award in Child Care and Education and joined Monkey Puzzle in September 2015. Lucy works part time at Monkey Puzzle and part time at a local school Lucy has 5 children of her own.

 Apprentice – Charlotte

Charlotte is studying for her level 2 in child care qualification and attends college one day a week. Charlotte joined Monkey Puzzle in January 2015.

Pre – School  Room (3-5 years)

Room Leader/Third in Charge – Sharn

Sharn has been working in the day nursery environment for over 3 years. Sharn has her 3 in child care. Sharn joined Monkey Puzzle in May 2015. Sharn is Third in Charge at the Nursery supporting the management team when needed.

Trainee Nursery Assistant – Louise

Louise has two children both at primary school and is working here at Monkey Puzzle Kingston to gain knowledge and experience to begin to start her career in child care. Louise is studying her NVQ 2 in Child Care.

Unqualified Nursery Assistant – Jordan

Jordan joined Monkey Puzzle in January 2015 she works across all our base rooms.
